Air Preassure Can Crasher

Yesterday, we performed an experiment in our class: Air Preassure Can Crasher.

This is the procedur:
Find all the necessary materials and substances in the laboratory (this is very important, haha).
Fill the crystallizer with cold water.
Add water to the empty soda can (very little).
Light the burner.
Put de soda can on the burner. When you'll see the vapour get ready for the experiment.
Unes the tongs to liftthe can off the burner, turn it upside down. Make a quick motion to carry this out.

What happened?
Before heating, the can was filled with water and air. By boiling the water, the water changed states from liquid to gas. This gas is called water vapour. The water vapour pushed the air that was originally inside the can into the atmosphere. When the can was turned upside down and placed in the water, the water vapour crush and turned back into the fas state. All of the water vapour that filled p the inside of the can turned into only a drop pr two of liquid, wich took up mach less space. This small amount of water cannot exert much pressure on the inside walls of the can, so the pressure of the air pushing from the outside of the can is grat enough to condesnsed it. The sudden collapsing of an object toward its centre is called an implossion. Nature wants things to be in a state of equilibrium or balance. To make the internal pressure of the can balance wirh the external pressure on the can, the can implodes. This experiment demonstrates that air pressure is powerful.

Each the studens of the class, make crush a can, but I... FAILED! My can, no crush...

(The other can is for Claudia Lucena).

  1. Well done!!! I would like to make some suggestions to improve your work:
In the first sentence, it would be better to say: Yesterday, we performed or conducted (past tense) an experiment.
Procediment is not an English word. You should use procedure.
Light the burner is more usual to use when you use a match. In our case it would better Turn on the burner (but your choice is possible, but you should say Light the burner (without s)).
You failed (because it happened yesterday and you should use the past tense)
Why don't you use Vocaroo to record your voice and explain this experiment? http://vocaroo.com/
